The MTA offers one of the fastest and convenient systems in the US. The L train crosses 14th Street and goes across Brooklyn, all the way to Canarsie - Rockaway Queens. 14th Street became a Busway to accomodate more riders while repairs are underway. A success, 14th Street remains one of the fastest crosstown streets for buses and bikes - and more boroughs want busways to encourage fewer motor vehicles and more climate-smart mobility.
