TIKEL is a wet land formerly used for transportation in canoes, salmon to travel and inhabited by other animals and plants. It was drained for farming and has recently been given back to the First Nations and restored back to holding water.

There’s lots of native trees, plants and grasses but also blackberry bushes which are invasive. There’s also lots of birds that chirp and fly around.
