Gala Waterways Group

Where?

Gala Waterways Group exists to encourage access to, enjoyment and interest in and around the watercourses in Galashiels. The Group aims to create walking routes, clean up the environment and protect the industrial heritage.

The Group usually meets at 10:00 am on the first Saturday of each month and typically prunes trees, clears undergrowth and removes rubbish along the Gala Water (river) and Mill Lade in the town.
