Torgarve Community Woodland is a 14.5ha. The community group is clear-felling 8ha of the area of what was originally a mature Sitka spruce commercial planting and restoring it with native broadleaf species that have been grown on the peninsula. They are also enhancing the natural habitat and biodiversity of the woodlands. Along with this, also showcasing the archaeological sites within the woodland.
