Shields Community Garden

Where?

Community garden at the Shields Health Centre. A therapeutic gardening project from the NHS Health Improvement Team in partnership with Urban Roots.

We offer green care prescribing, accepting green care referrals from the Health Centre, local organisations, community and self referrals. We have weekly volunteer gardening groups open to the whole community and nature-based workshops throughout the year, ranging from home herbal remedy sessions to outdoor cooking.
