A beautiful community garden which has been built by volunteers & is now enjoyed by local residents & visitors alike. Run by Heart of Scotstoun (HoS) Ltd. (a registered charity), the community garden is part of Heart of Scotstoun community centre which also has events & a café (link to the other Heart of Scotstoun listing here on Glasgow Green Map, below).
The garden incorporates a biodiversity area for children, an activity lawn, an ornamental garden, a growing area of raised beds for vegetables, fruit trees, pergolas, seating areas, & an eclectic collection of artworks. With maturing native & ornamental trees, colourful shrubs, perennials, & bulbs, there's always something growing throughout the year.
Just a short distance outside the City Centre, the garden is a wonderful place for taking quiet time.
