Wilderbee is a certified organic, family-run farm specializing in u-pick lavender, flowers, and pumpkins.
We raise honeybees for pollination and a conservation flock of rare, primitive British Soay sheep for wool. Each summer we distill lavender for essential oil which we bottle and blend to make lotions and balms available at our farm store where you will also find seasonal produce and unique woodcrafts ~ all grown and crafted at the farm.
In 2019 we opened a meadery {The Mead Werks} at the farm ~ a production barn and tasting room specializing in small-batch traditional and barrel-aged meads. The meads we provide range from sweet and savory to spicy and complex.
Wilderbee is located in the scenic, historic seaport and arts community of Port Townsend on Washington's beautiful Olympic Peninsula. In 2011 we built Wilderbee as a destination with visitors in mind, to provide a relaxing place for folks to explore and enjoy simple pleasures. Bring a picnic. Feed the sheep. Pick a bouquet. Sip some mead. Walk our nature trails. Enjoy the day at Wilderbee!
